Cosmetic claims: Sodium Hyaluronate can support hydration, plump-looking skin, smooth feel, moisture retention, and barrier-friendly positioning. Avoid claims about treating wounds, injections, joint disease, or medical skin conditions.
Formulation note: Molecular weight changes skin feel, viscosity, and product story. A “1% HA serum” can behave very differently depending on the selected HA grades.
Frequently Asked Questions
High molecular weight HA gives surface hydration, film-forming feel, and viscosity. Low molecular weight HA gives a lighter skin feel and different marketing story. Oligo HA is used for premium multi-layer hydration concepts. Many brands use a multi-weight blend rather than one grade.
Pre-disperse slowly, use good agitation, and allow enough hydration time. Some formulators pre-wet HA with glycerin or another compatible humectant before adding water. Processing method matters as much as the raw material.
High-quality sodium hyaluronate is white to off-white and low odor. It normally does not color the formula, but it can strongly affect viscosity, stringiness, and skin feel depending on molecular weight.
Keep claims cosmetic and appearance-focused: hydration, comfort, radiance, antioxidant care, smoother-looking skin, visible aging support, or even-looking tone depending on the ingredient. Avoid disease, treatment, SPF, wound-healing, or drug-style claims unless the finished product is reviewed under the correct regulatory pathway.
Every sample and bulk order includes COA, MSDS, and product specification sheet. For cosmetic ingredients, INCI support, heavy metal data, microbiology results, allergen statement, vegan / Non-GMO statement, flow chart, and country of origin declaration are available for bulk orders.
Sodium hyaluronate pairs well with tremella, aloe, panthenol, niacinamide, ceramides, peptides, centella, glycerin, beta-glucan, and lightweight emollient systems.
Minimum bulk order is 1kg, with formulation samples available from 20g. Bulk lead time is usually 10–15 business days depending on selected specification, inventory, documentation requirements, and destination market.

MW note
For HA, “molecular weight” is the spec buyers should ask first. It controls viscosity, skin feel, and positioning.
